Parking Lot Striping
Parking lot striping lines are painted on asphalt and concrete surfaces to denote parking stalls, road traffic lanes, and other traffic control markings. The markings are generally white or yellow with blue sometimes notating handicap spaces. Parking lot striping can be accomplished through various methods. Parking lot striping machinery is commonly used to apply the markings in two basic styles; one being air-atomized system and the other is the airless system. Longest in use, and the asphalt paving industry standard, is the air-atomized system. The airless line striping system was recently developed in the past few years to spray fast-drying latex paints.
